Our strongest asset is our location at the foot of the Ochil Hills.This provides views which compare favourably with more prestigious courses such as Gleneagles and Loch Lomond.   In addition we are located in central Scotland which means we are no more than an hours' drive away for most Scottish golfers. We have provided directions on the 'Contact' page .

A great attraction at Muckhart is that we offer 27 holes of golf on our three nine hole courses - Cowden, Naemoor and Arndean. This means that you can almost always get a round of golf and can play 27 different holes in one day. Click on "The Courses" to discover more. During the year we entertain many visiting parties. We currently also have vacancies for both male and female golfers. Some reasons why you should consider applying for membership are given on the "Membership" page.

The Sky Commentator for the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles on Saturday 30 August 2008 mentioned Muckhart -

 

"There's a little mist over the Ochils, but there's a pearl in there called Muckhart and they are celebrating their Centenary Year this year.  One of the great courses up in the hillside there, not far from here". 

We were also described in the Scotsman on 23 May 2007 as one of the 'Best Hidden Gems of Golf' .  Our 27 holes 'allows golfers of all levels a unique and memorable experience'
